Chante de Bergh, 'Piper'

Born and raised in South Africa, Chante de Bergh is an aspiring actress, currently a performing arts student at AFDA studying in the fields of film and stage acting. Her love for the arts steamed from the interests of delving into the logics of human behavior and how the brain works, why we do the things we do, and how those actions affect us. Reaching our to others in a way that only acting through performance can do, is why she fell in love with film and stage acting. "Film is a way of expression. It unites people from all nations, giving us the opportunity to, not only physically, touch people. I found that in this industry, the beauty of acting is that it connects you to your fellow co’workers, and it creates togetherness." 

Esihle Ndleleni, 'Summer'

Esihle was born in the KZN but moved around all over the Eastern Cape until she came to study in Cape Town. For the longest time she wanted to be a fashion designer, then graphic designer, a scientist and then in matric she applied to AFDA for fun and the rest is history. She loves acting because she gets to be someone else, be somewhere else be it in time or location. The ability to transport the audience through the story is what made her fall in love with acting and films. Her interests vary from history, architecture, astronomy, painting, learning about every and anything she doesn’t have knowledge of and so forth. The list is endless. Also, she thinks she’s pretty funny.

Linda Midiwo, 'Andi'

Linda is an African-American actress. She was born in Maryland, USA but grew up in Nairobi, Kenya. She has always had a passion for acting and film-making, only further expressed by her wild and untamed imagination. She first stepped into the film-making scene through theatre and dance, with light training in styles such as ballet and hip-hop, and then contemporary and jazz after high school. She has acted in multiple school theatre productions as well as musicals (such as Grease. After high school she chose to study in Cape Town, South Africa and attain her Bachelor’s in Live Performance.

Braeden Buys, 'Aiden'

Braeden is a Cape Town born triple threat. He is trained in various forms of dance ranging from Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Tap. He’s been on the competition scene for most of his life, achieving medals since the age of 12 and has performed on international stages in Austria, St. Martinique and Los Angeles. He is currently in his final year of studies at The Stage Performing Arts Studio where he is majoring in Acting and Dance. This 21-year-old CATA winner has a huge passion for musical theatre starring in numerous community and professional productions. In summary, this guy can’t sit still for too long.

Chelsea-Leigh Bartman, 'Bianca'

Chelsea-Leigh is a 20-year-old 2nd Year Live Performance Student at AFDA CPT. She is born and raised in Cape Town where she attended The Settlers High School where she nurtured her love for the arts. Her experience includes directing, performing and working as a model. She also participates in the dancing team at her local church. She aspires to use her acting skills cultivated in high school and refined at AFDA to pursue her career in the filed of storytelling as well as film.

Eric Diswane, 'Thomas'

Eric is 20 years old, and is currently studying a Live Performance degree at AFDA Cape town. He started acting at a very young age and thus the passion for it has only grown stronger with time. He is originally from Bloemfontein, Free State. Eric was the head-boy of his primary school and later on became a prefect at his high school . Eric is a very outgoing person with a high drive and passion for creating a lasting moment. He is a peoples person, and fits in well around different types of crowds.
